Have you heard about Silent Book Clubs?
As part of Caistor’s Spring Late Night Opening, we invite you to join us as we launch our Silent Book Club on Thursday 24th April 2025 from 6:30 to 9pm.
Join us as we celebrate World Book Night (23rd April ’25) while you relax in the Café or find a cosy spot in the library, to read your book or one of the Quick Reads available to buy on the night. We will have Coffee & Cake or Wine & Charcuterie Cups available to enjoy while you read!
The rules are simple!

We’ll take your order for food, drink and a copy(s) of this year’s World Book Night – Quick Reads
SILENT reading 7-8pm. No Whispers, no humming, no chitchatting with your neighbour.
After 8pm, keep reading, visit with a friend, make new friends, talk books!

Catherine Scott, a woman with a grudge, is back by popular demand to headline. Come and hear the beautiful voice of Brigg’s Heather McSharry and listen to Michael Galligan as he once again regales us in his own inimitable way, to be sure!

Brad Dear is a raw folk singer/songwriter from Nottingham. Telling stories about life’s characters, losing yourself, finding yourself and running away, Brad blends his raw and husky vocals into sing along choruses and foot stomping anthems. Brad is joined by Laura from The March.

This exhibition is by Katie Veall & Deb Davis. and is in the Gallery Room and runs until 22nd April 2025
Katie is a punch needle artist living in Lincolnshire. She is passionate about this heritage craft, keeping the traditional rug making technique alive through her own unique style.
Deb is textile artist living in Lincolnshire. She creates artwork using collagraph printing and free motion embroidery. Both will be displaying framed art pieces, as well as greetings cards and coasters.
Between 5th March and 22nd April 2025, in our Cafe Gallery.
An exhibition of original watercolour artwork, with some acrylics and oil pastels. Jen draws inspiration from the wild places in Britain, nature and animals.
Jen’s original artwork plus prints will be available to purchase.
During her exhibition, Jen will be hosting a beginners watercolour workshop – this will be held in our exhibition room on 28th March 2025 at 10am – 12.30pm.
The workshop is priced at £25 per person, booking essential.

With just another couple of weeks left of October, we are getting closer to the start of our festive shopping events at the Centre.
The first of these is on Thursday 7th November for the Caistor Late Night Shopping Event, with many of your other favourite Caistor businesses open until 8pm.
We are hosting pop up stalls by some of our favourite makers and artists, as well as music from the Bella Mamas and the launch of our festive treats in the Cafe.
