Annual Open Art Exhibition - Wolds WORDFest 2025
This years Annual Open Art Exhibition will take place from Tuesday 1st July 2025 to Sunday 27th July 2025 in the Café Gallery. As it coincides with the Wolds WORDFest we have chosen the theme of Literature; all entries should have a connection to Literature.
As many of you will be aware, the exhibition is open to everyone and all work submitted will be exhibited, if it follows the strict rules listed below.
If you wish to show your work, please submit an expression of interest via email to cahcevents@gmail.com by 14th May – you will receive a response confirming your space with a booking form to be completed. This should be delivered when you drop off your artwork.
Your artwork should be brought to the Centre during opening hours on Sunday 29th June 2025. There is a non-refundable entry fee of £20, payable upon delivery of the work.
The exhibition will be open from Tuesday 1st July - Sunday 27th July 2025, with a Meet the Artists event on 11th July.
The rules are as follows:
Min of two (2), max of four (4) allowed per person – they must all fit within an allocated space of 100cm x 100cm.
All work must be framed and no bigger than 50cm x 50cm including the frame.
All work must be original - i.e. not copied from someone else's work or photograph.
All work must have 'D' rings attached approx. 2 inches below from the top of the frame, facing inwards (see image below). There is no need for wire or cord for our hanging purposes; although the buyer might appreciate some.
